BIO - NPK

A Consortia of beneficiary Microbes.

BIO-NPK is a unique organic supplementation of noble soil bacteria, isolated by Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat (AAU) from the native soil of the state.

These microbes, Azotobacter, Azospirillum, PBS, KSB, Rhizobium, Zinc solubilizing bacteria & Pseudomonas, regulates basic plant metabolism by providing Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium and Phytohormones.

This bacteria are able to produce phytohormones, including cytokinins, auxins, gibberellins, ethylene and absacic acid ( ABA ), which play a role in different growth processes in plants including cell multiplication, which results in increased cell and root expansion. This bacteria has the ability to increase the availability of nutrient concentration in the rhizosphere by fixing nutrients, thus preventing them from leaching out. This bacteria showed to increase root proliferation over a short period of time, thus increasig the uptake of nutrients and water holding capacity of the plants.

Mode of action

Nitrogen fixers, Phosphate solublizers and Potash solubilizers in BIO-NPK colonizes on the plant root, assimilates atmospheric nitrogen, phosphates, potash and makes it available to plant in the form of fixed nitrogen, posphates & Potash.

It also produces phytohormone which boosts plant growth.

Method of Use & Dose

Drenching (Fertigation/ Drip irrigation): Mix 5 ml BIO-NPK in 1 litre of water and drench in the root zone. (2-3 lit/acre by drip irrigation system)

With compost : Mix 3 lit BIO-NPK in compost and spread over a one-acre area.

Seed Treatment : Use 25-50 ml BIO-NPK to coat 1 kg seed

Seedling treatment (Root dipping) : Mix 5 ml BIO-NPK in 1 litre of water and use this water for root dipping.

Precautions

Avoid using under direct sunlight.

Avoid using alkaline or acidic pH products.

Do not use in combination with chemical pesticides and fertilizer
