Helicoverpa armigera

HELICOVERPA

It is used for controlling the pest Helicoverpa in Tomato, Beans, Chilli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Gram, Onion, Pea, maize, Potato, Cotton, Sunflower and other crops.The cotton bollworm, corn earworm, or Old World bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera) is a moth, the larvae of which feed on a wide range of plants, including many important cultivated crops. It is a major pest in cotton and one of the most polyphagous and cosmopolitan pest species.

Mode of action

It is the process of attracting the pest, and trapping those insects that damages the fruits.

If installed at proper tiime. it can detect low numbers of insects infestation.

Precautions

One should use hand gloves / clean hand for handling lure

Avoid using alkaline or acidic pH products.

Do not use in combination with chemical pesticides and fertilizer
